My old SSD had a 128 GB capacity and installing many applications on the system have filled it with .MSI/.MSP files. I’ve asked for a replacement, not knowing exactly what vendor will our purchases manager choose. And she did choose a Samsung EVO this time – probably the price was all right.

What a nice surprise!

  • easy to install
  • it comes with a software capable of transferring the old boot drive to the new drive; no hassling with imaging, fixing the boot sector and so on
  • it has a performance managing software with nice links to other vendors web pages (it pointed me to the Intel page to download some drivers, and the entire process took about 10 minutes – now I can say I have the latest drivers and hopefully the system will run faster when I need it).
